I have been exiled with the reason that i sentenced Roma citizens to death without a proper trial. They are leaving out the fact that i did this in order to protect Rome.

Having now served for some months as the Quaestor in Sicily I believe that the people there have begun to trust me. They are know asking me to prosecute Gauis Verres a governor of Sicily who had plundered it. I think that I might accept this offer so that I try my Oratory skills against Quintus Hortensius Horatalus(who will be defending) who is known as the greatest lawyer in Rome.

I have just delivered the Pro Roscio Amerino on behalf of Roscius of Ameria. The results of this speech leads me to conclude that i have won the case. Now i fear the wrath of Sulla and i am considering of escaping to Greece.
